Fashion with Kenichi

Good morning guys and girls,

Let’s face it Orange is really the new black. It is the “IT” color to wear this season! Designers from all around the big fashion capitals of the world have been showcasing their love for the color. We have seen orange pieces on numerous collections on the runways this season, even here in Cape Town. Remember the orange sleeveless leather jacket fashion designer Rich Mnisi  graced us with at SA Menswear SS16.

Let me refresh your memory.

Not only has orange been such a prominent color on the runways, it was a major hit on the red carpet too and has been stocked in store departments EVERYWHERE!!

Honey, you know a trend is here to stay when a slew of stars are sporting the hue.

How can you rock this bold color?

  1. Find your go-to item in your closet and just update it with a splash of orange. By doing that, you’ll be rocking this trend and incorporating it into our wardrobe.
  2. All you need is an orange top to pair well with your favorite denim jeans and a pair of nude heels and you’ll be good to go!

Outfit details: Orange top available at Topshop (Century City); Nude heels (Foschini ); Jeans (Witchery V&A waterfront).

  3. Everybody knows that spring is not the same without a maxi dress. And since we talking all things Orange this week, I found just the perfect maxi dress that you can pair up with some cute sandals.

This year’s spring season garbs are definitely calling for a dose of Vitamin C..
